Villanueva del Trabuco is a town and municipality in the province of Malaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalucia in southern Spain. It is situated in the northeast of the province. Villanueva del Trabuco is located approximately 45 kilometres from the provincial capital of Malaga and 34 kilometres from Antequera. It has a population of approximately 5,000 residents. The natives are called Trabuqueños. Villanueva del Trabuco is one of the most popular areas for expats to choose to live. Whilst remaining a very Spanish village with Spanish Culture there are many Northern Europeans who choose this location. It is a beautiful village with every conceivable amenity and wonderfully situated for touring the Andalucia Cities including Cordoba, Granada and Seville as well as Malaga.
